Information you provide
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, order details, and a phone number if you provide one. For signed books, we also collect the recipient’s name, whether the recipient is a healthcare professional, and any optional gift-note message. Please do not include private medical information in these fields.
When you use the contact form, we receive the information and message you submit so Robin can respond.
How we use information
We use this information to process payments, fulfill orders, personalize signed books, include gift notes, communicate about purchases or inquiries, and maintain business records. If you order for someone else, please provide only the information needed to prepare and deliver the gift.
Payments and order fulfillment
Card payments are processed through Square. Information needed to process and support your payment is shared with Square. See Square’s privacy information.
Delivery information is shared with the people and services needed to fulfill your order, including USPS for signed-book shipments and Amazon’s fulfillment services for unsigned books. Hosting and email services also process information needed to operate this website and deliver messages.
Cookies and website activity
The store uses cookies and similar browser storage to maintain your shopping cart and support checkout. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart or checkout from working correctly.
To confirm before publication: Confirm the final analytics tools and cookie-consent settings. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are planned; their actual use, data collection, and visitor choices must be checked before this policy is approved.
Records and your requests
Order records and related correspondence are retained as needed to fulfill purchases, respond to inquiries, and meet applicable business and recordkeeping requirements.
